Gray Drop

Dress, A-Land // Shoes, gifted // Bag, Reece Hudson

I've finally found my perfect dress silhouette: a girly, drop-waist minidress that does not hug a single curve on my body. I can't really pinpoint a certain reason as to why drop-waist dresses tingle my senses, but they are the only dresses I want to look at; and wear. This perfect gray neoprene dress pretty much has my many obsessions combined into a single garment, so how could I have said no?

Furry

Sweater, Joe Fresh // Coat, Next // Jeans, Uniqlo // Shoes, Steve Madden // Bag, Reece Hudson

Never would I have imagined that a faux fur coat could be as warm as this gem I found at a boutique while perusing Oxford Circus in London during thanksgiving. With this coat on, literally a knit top is sufficient for the windiest, coldest New York City days. The tint of violet adds even more beauty to this coat, as if that was possible. And I have to mention this bag from Reece Hudson-- an amazingly beautiful and well-crafted design. And did I mention, I will be interning there in the Spring? It's truly a big year coming up!

Stay tuned ;)

Tribe

Dress, Goodwill / Heels, Jeffrey Campbell

A casual outing in the forest with five-inch platforms. I was looking for a location perfect to photograph this dress, and drove past this. Not sure what reason made me bring this dress (more like an oversized shirt) home from Goodwill that day, but I sure am glad I did. It's a gorgeous piece. If only I knew where it came from.

Talk soon!

Overload

Top, Zara / Shorts, DIY / Cutout Oxfords, Stuart Weitzman / Diego Bag, Alexander Wang

Translated the studs on my bag with more studs on my shorts. Overload? Not in my dictionary ;). Oddly enough, my hair color does seem to match my bag quite a bit too...

Until next time!

Mix

I live by one rule when it comes to fashion: mixing. Tight with loose, short with long, exposing with covering, white with black, girly with boyish. This outfit is no exception. The lace romper, I love. But it shows too much, so this black short-sleeve oversized blazer-type thing is perfect. And I can't not mention these socks. Japanese stores makes the best socks. Hands down. Every time I'm there, I hoard them.

'Til next time loves!

Wanted List: Fall 13

Obsessed: Black Summer

Clutch, Hong Kong / Antigona Bag, Givenchy
Fringe Skirt, Zara / Blazer, Hong Kong
Loafers, Zara / Ankle Boots, Taiwan / Pointed Boots, Zara

I don't even know what it is... maybe the fact that since it's summer, everyone on the street is in color. It's almost a little too much. Needless to say, my wardrobe is turning darker as the days get warmer. Oh, I'm obsessed with Zara as you can probably tell. I'm also enjoying more versatility, as my existing wardrobe is, in my opinion, a hot mess.

Until next time!

blued

Top, Zara / Shorts, Japanese Boutique / Sneakers, Burberry / Bag, Balenciaga / Jewelry, DIY

Something I hate in the summertime is sleeved shirts. Just because Hong Kong is so humid it's not possible to stand outdoors sweat-free. This top though, I can say I'm in love. Surprisingly cool and incredibly comfortable. And seems to contrast well with my hair!

Until next time loves.

black fact

Top, H&M / Jeans, Uniqlo / Antigona Bag, Givenchy / Heels, Zara

An all black look to contrast my annoyingly light hair (that I wish I could dye back but would rather not risk damaging it any more). This look was from a dinner date, and the heels were my starting point. The entire outfit revolves around me trying to accentuate these beauties. A pain to walk in, but too pleasant to the eye to return. Hong Kong is not the place to be strolling around in heels, which explains the available space inside my Antigona to fit an extra pair of flats. I never wear heels without back-up anymore.....

Until next time. Have a great weekend!
